On the day

Hluboká Castle stands in brilliant white above the Vltava, remodelled in the 1840s–1870s in the style of England's Windsor Castle. Walk up from the town in about 10–15 minutes, leave large bags in the cloakroom, and be at the tour meeting point 15–20 minutes before your booked English departure. Entry is by timed guided tour only, and the château is generally open April–October and usually closed Mondays outside high summer.

Frequently asked

Is the tour in English?
Yes — we book you onto an English-language departure specifically, so you get a commentary you can follow rather than a Czech tour.
Do I need a specific time?
Yes — entry is by timed guided tour, so your ticket is for a set English departure. Arrive 15–20 minutes before it.
How do I receive it?
As a mobile ticket with a QR code by email once confirmed — nothing to print.
How long is the tour?
About 60 minutes for the Representation Rooms, plus time for the gardens and park.
